UPDATE: Vehicle fire near Aala Park intentionally set | News

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu Fire Department officials say a fire that gutted a parked vehicle near Aala Park was intentionally set.
According to officials, the fire started in an Astro van at about 1:20 a.m. Tuesday in a parking lot on Beretania Street, just mauka of the park.
The fire also damaged the side paneling of a large cargo truck parked next to the van.
No injuries were reported and no arrests were made.
At this time, officials do not know how the fire was started.
The case has been handed over to Honolulu police.
