Liliha Library will Offer Teen Lounge Movies including "Marvel's The Avengers" in October | Arts & Culture

Liliha Public Library will present “Teen Lounge Movies,” free movie screenings including “Battleship” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” on Wednesday afternoons in October 2012.  The Friends of the Library of Hawaii is sponsoring the program for students in grades 7 through 12 in the Meeting Room. 

The Library’s Teen Lounge is a place for teens to come and relax, have fun, and talk to friends.  Free suggested reading lists including the latest Young Adult novels and books with movie tie-ins will be available. 

The following movies, rated PG-13 (parental guidance is suggested), will be shown:

• October 3, 2:15 p.m. – “Battleship”
• October 10, 2:30 p.m. – “Blood and Chocolate”
• October 17, 2:15 p.m. – “Marvel’s The Avengers”
• October 24, 2:30 p.m. – “Ringu”
• October 31, 3 p.m. – “Corpse Bride”
